Once upon a time, there was an elf named Chuck. Chuck didn't have any friends. He lived in a tree with his pet squirrel who was often gone. It always rained in the forest he lived in, so he never went outside to explore or make friends. Then one day, it stopped raining! Chuck decided to go outside to explore and see what the forest had to offer. Chuck found a pile of sticks and decided to take some so he could make some new furniture for his tree home. After his 3rd trip around, he could hear someone yelling. He walked around the pile of sticks and saw a short, brown headed, fat and dirty looking man sitting down yelling at himself. Chuck was startled and decided not to mess with the weird man, so he walked away and started grabbing sticks again. All of a sudden, he heard the man say "Hey!", Chuck dropped the sticks and ran as hard as he could back to his tree home. When he got inside, he was out of breath and wondering if the strange man was looking for him. Chuck waited inside for about an hour and decided that maybe the man was talking to himself again and that it was safe to go back. When Chuck returned to the pile of sticks, the weird man was gone. So, Chuck grabbed more sticks and walked back towards his tree house. When he got closer and closer to his home, he could see a figure of somebody sitting by his door. Chuck was scared; he knew it was the strange man, so he ran quickly behind his tree home and went through the back door. The strange man heard him inside and started knocking on the door. Chuck answered the door, hoping that maybe the strange man didn't know he was stealing his sticks. The man introduced himself as Payton and asked Chuck if he was taking his sticks. Chuck told the truth and admitted that it was him, but Payton wasn't mad or upset about it. Payton told Chuck that he was more than happy to let Chuck have them and asked Chuck if he wanted to help him get more sticks. Chuck was excited that Payton actually wanted to be friends and followed him back to the pile of sticks. Chuck, Payton and the pet squirrel became the best of friends and none of them were lonely ever again.
The End(:
